goes
next to it!!)
Centre For the Easily Amused
-
Center for the Easily Amused (C+E+A) - Can't find something here? You're worse
off than we thought! If we had the time to do a web page right, this would be
it!!! Has links to some of the most "worthless" sights on the
net along with ones that actually do something.

American Newspeak
-
You probably overlooked most of these news stories because they have a tendency to be buried in the back of the newspaper. You'll be surprised at what you missed. Informative as well as entertaining, bringing you tidbits that
would be absolutely absurd if they weren't true. Includes sources for each
news item.

Bible Indecency - For the Theologically Correct
-
You'd never suspect that the Bible was so much fun! Primarily designed to throw some fodder at the hypocritical religious right, Mike Cluff gets some great digs at the holy rollers. Be sure to check out the "Auto-reponse" section!!

Cheese Factory of Fun & Love
-
A potpourri of a web site, with tongue planted firmly in cheek. Offerings range from "How To Meet Women in Chat Rooms" to reviews of music videos of the '80s. Relatively new to the web, it was celebrating it's 35th anniversary (in days) when I visited. A thumbs up for a "Don't take it too seriously" approach!

Joe Lavin's Humor Column
-
While bouncing from site to site, We've come across a number of links to this page. Always meaning to swing by and check it out,
we either couldn't get through or became distracted by something else. Kick us in the buttocks to me, because we have been missing some super stuff!. We always enjoy original humor and Joe Lavin's column is without
exception. It is updated every Tuesday and Friday and an e-mail version
is available.

NeoScience Inst.
-
We love educational sites and this one is a "must visit!" Driven by the motto of: "Dedicated to Mad Science, and to finding the truth, no matter how false it might be," Director and
Founder, Edward T. Toton offers exciting photos and information of the institute's work. Make sure to take the tour offered in the new SlideShow section. A subsidiary of
NecroBones Enterprises.

Rodney Dangerfield's
-
This is not a fan created site, Mr. Dangerfield runs this himself!!
One of the first celebrities to jump on the web, it's loaded with jokes and
personal tidbits. Consider it the definitive source for all things "Dangerfield."
(We felt sorry that he didn't get balled when first reviewed ...
so here's some well-earned respect!)

Sandy Lindsey Humor Page
-
A real fun site by ... well, Sandy Lindsey of course!! Updated each Monday, the page
features Sandy's work and includes a showcase of up and coming humorists. You can
also subscribe to her humor newsletter.

See Span Run
-
Anti-Social commentary by Sue D. Nim offering a hodgepodge of satirical commentary on current events. Updated weekly and great stuff! We detected a right-wing slant (though she will DISAGREE!!) and that always wins brownie points with us. No fancy frames (thank God!), but a "most
excellent" for content. Be sure to check out the hypertext definitions.

Spanky's World
-
Spanky's World features our most favorite onionhead on the web ... sliced or diced!! Chock full of bandwasting activites, her little niche on the net has been growing by leaps and bounds. The popuarity has not gone unnoticed and has been featured on some of the "big guy" sites. We suggest you stop by and check it out before her head gets so big it explodes!

The Daily Muse
-
One of the best humor "Zines" we've come across to date. A fresh
look at the news and current events in a way I can relate. Doesn't look like any sides are taken or sacred cows are spared. Worth getting DAILY!!

The Frumious Bandersnatch: Satirical Newspaper
-
We're pretty certain that life exists out in Baja Arizona since somebody has been darn busy putting this weekly winner together. Offering Parody, with a capital "P," we gobbled up the original essays and loved the graphics and toons. E-zines may come and go .... but this is a standout!

The Funny Bone
-
Mr. Smiley was the only dissenting vote for the Funny Bone's inclusion to Favorite Balls. He's been estranged from his "half-brother" who just happens to be their mascot so we excused his vote. Putting that aside, this collection of "stuff" really draws our attention since they repeatedly use our material and ideas. Well, OK ... they do have some great original content too!

The Gift Electronique
-
We visited Issue #2 back in October with a promise to check back for "Issue #3 - Christmas Comes to Cyberspace." We did and it was not a disappointment! In fact, we now eagerly await each new issue. Matt, Dan, Mark, and Phil produce some excellent original satire and don't forget to visit their sponsors!

The Joe Cartoon Co.
-
We've always had a soft spot for good toons. We define good as being rather sick, twisted and very politically incorrect ... and boy, does Joe and Co. fit the bill! Highlights include the whole damn site and we bestow our four thumbs up endorsement. You'll need Shockwave™ to enjoy parts of this site's animation ... well worth the effort. GREAT STUFF!!

Toxic Custard Workshop Files
-
A humor "Zine" with an Australian accent offering a "down under" perspective. One of my personal favorites and the best place on the web to waste your time. Plan on buying several six-packs of Fosters so you can learn to speak Australian and keep up with it. Published about once a week, usually on Monday. Make sure to sign up for the e-mail column. Written by Daniel Bowen of Melbourne, Australia.

Uploaded!!
-
A new "Zine" from the U.K. that we missed during a trip across the
Atlantic. "For men who should net better," a superior "mix of women, football, crisps, drugs, pets, soft toys, celebrities and all things fine, British, stiff and outstanding." Real Audio and Shockwave sections are offered, and make sure to check out "Monkey Radio." Our Scottish buddy, McNulty, is featured and offers some questionable wisdom.

Windows 95 & Mac Joke Wallpaper
-
First off, let it be said that I have not upgraded to Windows 95 and do not own a Mac (I used to have a //e, but I don't think that counts). Regardless
of those two facts, this is a very funny site that gets a "laughed-my-ass-off" rating. Parody is the focus and author Steve Kremer is on target. Great original humor, loaded with hilarious GIFs and JPEGs ... what the hell else could you ask for?
